The Power Play vision

01

Our Aim

Our aim is to educate the youth in physical literacy through Strength & Conditioning principles, facilitating this education through the immersive experience of play.

02

How we plan to achieve it

We have designed a fully integrated, FUNdamentalkids Strength & Conditioning program that uses gamification to educate kids on how to effectively leverage their innate talents. This empowers them to enhance their Mind-Body awareness, crucial not only for their athletic endeavors but also transferable across multiple sports through dynamic movement.

03

When & where

The program takes place bi-weekly in a dedicated training facility. Here, qualified coaches ensure that physical literacy is introduced in a gamified manner, making the learning experience both engaging & effective.

04

Desired outcome

Our goal is for each child to explore a myriad of sporting modalities. Simultaneously, they will develop athletic capabilities & hone mental & emotional skills, all achieved through the curriculum.

physical literacy is the groundwork for Sport readiness in Youth Development.

“Sport readiness means that the child’s motor development matches the requirements of the sport. The acquisition of fundamental motor skills, such as throwing, running & jumping, is an innate process, independent of sex or stage of physical maturity. Sporting activities should be tailored to the developmental level of the child through simple modifications, such as smaller equipment, frequent changing of positions, shorter games & practices, & by focusing on fun”
